15th August Flag Hoisting
 
   

The 60th Independence Day was celebrated at IndSearch. On this occasion Dr. Ashok Joshi, Director IndSearch hoisted the National Flag at the Law College campus at 8:00 am. The assembled members sang the National Anthem. All the faculty members, guests, alumni and students were present for the flag hoisting ceremony.

Dr. Ashok Joshi addressed the gathering; in his speech he highlighted the significance of India 's 60th year of Independence. He cited that it is a proud moment to be a part of India as the country is one of the largest democracy. He stressed that as citizens we should be sensitized about Global warming & carbon trade. IndSearch had organized a week-long public lecture awareness series on the same where eminent speakers delivered their concerns and shared their vision on the Global warming & carbon trade.

   
 
 
 

Tree Plantation

IndSearch organized a Tree Plantation program on 15 th August 2007. Prof. R. Chakraborty & Mrs. Chakraborty were the chief invitees. Dr. Ashok Joshi, Director of the Institute, Dr. N. M. Vechalekar, Associate Dean, Post-Graduate Programmes, The Chief invitees, faculty & students participated enthusiastically in the Tree plantation. There were saplings of Tamhan, Bhava, Palas, Avala & Booch, which were planted. This was followed by a variety program showcased by the IndSearch students.

 
 
 
 

Nature Trail

IndSearch organized the first outbound program for the new entrants. Prof. Kaustubh Moghe led pupils from various streams for the first Nature Trail on 4 th August & 5 th August, 2007. This activity aimed at Team-Building & to bring students closer to Nature. The activity turned to be a great success with the new entrants. Dr. Ashok Joshi, Director of the Institute, Prof. Sunita Joshi, Associate Dean, EC & IRC and faculty attended the finale of the Nature Trail where pupils showcased their talent through performances.
